COMING UP AT FCN!

The Lenten season begins on March 5 with our Ash Wednesday gathering—a unique service designed to help you use the weeks leading up to Easter to enhance your personal connection to God.  Our regular midweek programming will be suspended so we can come together in the Worship Center.

Fremont Church of the Nazarene is hosting Mom's and Coffee on March 8, @ 9:30am till 11:00am. FCN invites all mom's and their children to enjoy some time socializing, drinking coffee, and having a kid friendly snack.

On Sunday, March 2, Pastor John talked about how ministry is not the domain of a select few but an opportunity all of us are to embrace according to the gifts, abilities, and skills God has built into our lives. You can get involved by completing an inventory where you can indicate your areas of interest. Please click on the bubble below.

This Sunday, March 9, Pastor John begins a Lenten sermon series entitled “The Cross and Us.”  Looking at some of the actions and emotions of those who were involved in Jesus’ death, he makes connections to our lives and how we often respond to Jesus similarly.  This promises to be a very practical series that will give us a chance to examine some of the hidden and uninviting attitudes in our lives.  Don’t miss it!

The Church Board meets next Tuesday, March 11, to take the next steps in this process. They are also setting aside Friday noon to pray & fast for God's guidance in the pastoral search process. You are invited to join in and participate!
